A Course for Elders
|
The best training material for Elders is this pack
It can be used in a local church with the Minister or an experienced Elder as the tutor following the guidelines in the pack. It is even better if Elders from several nearby churches study it together.

- The Church in an ecumenical setting
- Working as a team
- The Elder as pastor - the role and responsibilities of Elders for pastoral care
- Skills for pastoral care
- The Church and the wider Church
- The Church in the community
- Elders as communicators
- Elders and work amoung young people
- Outstanding issues - responsibilities in providing worship, safety, legal issues, and finding resources
