Mission Shaped Ministry
|
We have received information from Mission Shaped Ministry (Bruce Mounsey) at the Philadelphia Campus, 6 Gilpin Street, Sheffield, S6 3BL about a one year part-time course "mission shaped ministry", on 'planting and sustaining fresh expressions of church'.
Aimed at teams from churches who want to explore mission options or have started a fresh expression of church, the course involves eight evening sessions (7.30 - 9.30) and two Saturdays (9.39 - 4.30) both at Christ Church Pitsmoor, Pitsmoor Road, Sheffield, and one residential week-end at Bawtry Hall, Doncaster, and the cost is £250 all inclusive of materials, teaching, residential week-end, etc.
It is a joint Anglican-Methodist initiative and CMS are partnering with the Sheffield course. The subjects are taught by both local and national teachers.
The dates are
Term 1: Saturday 15 Sept, Tuesday 9 October, Tuesday 6 November, Tuesday 4 December
Term 2: Tuesday 15 January, Tuesday 12 February, Residential week-end 14 - 16 March, Tuesday 8 April
Term 3: Saturday 10 May, Tuesday 10 June, Tuesday 15 July, Commissioning service
