Service Times:
We meet for worship every Sunday at 10.30am, and services follow both the tradition of the Anglican church and URC/Baptist.

We invite you to join us.
Our Church:

DENHOLME SHARED CHURCH (Incorporating Denholme Edge, United Reformed/Baptist and St. Paul's, Church of England)

Sharing Christ's Love With Others

Denholme Edge Church was formed in October 1988 when a constitution was signed between the Denholme UnitedReformed Church and Denholme Baptist Church. The sale of the Baptist building and site brought much needed funding and we were able to refurbish the URC building by removing pews from the santuary to create a multi-purpose area. We also added an extension to form a separate meeting room, and installed new toilets and kitchen facilities.

Our building is now shared with St. Paul's (CofE) and we are currently setting up a Sharing Agreement. Throughout the year various social activities are organised, often as a means of fund raising. We have regular Bible study groups, and a talented music group.  A parent and toddler group meet on the church premises every Friday 9.15-11.30am, and we have a monthly Toddler Praise service.  Other events for children and famililes include Krafts4Kids, a monthly Saturday morning activity session for children age between 5-11yrs.  All sorts @ 4 is a monthly Sunday afternoon worship for parents and children.

We have the only original church building left in the village and are continually called upon for funerals, baptisms and other community events.

Our mission strategy is:
to bring the people of Denholme to Christ
to establish the values of God's kingdom in our village and beyond
to grow a loving and caring church in the community

A vision that has the people at the centre and evangelism at its heart
