Girls' Brigade meets each Monday in term time.

Boys' Brigade meets each Friday in term time.

We are part of a group of four churches sharing two ministers. As we are situated on the edge of the town centre we are a gathered congregation, which consists of a range of age groups, from the very young to the more elderly.

We have Girls' Brigade and Boys' Brigade companies and some of the young people, and their families, are invoved in other aspects of church life.

Our worship takes a traditional form, but not rigidly so and we hope we are open to new ideas. Music is regularly provided by our pipe organ or grand piano and, often at our monthly GB, BB parade service, by our music group.

A small number of our fellowship attend an informal, and group led, prayer meeting which follows worship bi- monthly. We also have a well used telephone/e-mail prayer tree. We have one House Group which meets on a monthly basis.

We enjoy socialising and one way we do this is by getting together for refreshments after Sunday worship.

We are a Fair Trade church and hold events to promote this movement. We belong to Churches Together in Central Halifax and Christians Together, Halifax. We support a number of local, national and international charities, including Commitment for Life and Christian Aid. Our premises are host to a number of non-church organisations and is used very regularly.

A Youth Cafe, for young people and their carers attending the nearby Magistates' Court. is run at the Court and staffed by volunteers from our Group of churches.
