Our Church:

Heath URC is part of the Halifax group of United Reformed Churches. We currently have over 50 members, though not all are able to attend each week. Our normal attendance is around 40.

Our Junior Church is currently quite small, with only two regulars, but we have an enthusiastic Junior Church staff who are keen to share their stories, art and craft activities etc. with young people of any age.

During the week activities:
Monday: 9.30am to 11.30am, Toddler group
Monday: Cubs at 6pm to 7.15pm (8 to 10 1/2 years, boys and girls)
Monday: Explorers at 7.30pm to 9.30m (14 to 18 years, boys)
Note: Explorers provide training and assessment of the Duke of Edinburgh awards
Wednesday: Pilots 7pm to 8.30pm (for ages 11 to 17, boys and girls)
Friday: Scouts at 7.15pm to 9pm (10 1/2 to 14 years, boys and girls)

Monthly activities:
Second Sunday of the month - Thursday Club (ladies social group) at 8pm

Our social club meets on the second Sunday of each month at 8pm (normally).

Our building is also used Monday to Friday during the day by The Stroke Club.

Our premises are available for hire.  For prices and availability please contact Jude on 01422 322346.

We are keen to start new mission activities in the Manor Drive area, so if you have an idea for how we should be meeting the needs of the surrounding community, please contact alankendall1234@hotmail.com.

We have recently started 'Messy Church'.  The next one is planned for Sunday 12th June from 4pm to 6pm.  These events include games, art and craft and finish with a meal.  There is no cost, so please feel free to come along and join us - whatever your age there will be some suitable activities for you.
